When their third meet of the year turned into their first, Pella Christian boys’ golf coach, Jim Dingeman was happy with what he saw from his team. <!–more–The Eagles shot exactly what they scored as a team when they played at Des Moines Christian a year ago, and they were further into their season then than they were here in 2016. Though he would have liked to have had a meet or two before what ended up being their debut on Thursday, Dingeman says the biggest improvement he noticed from last year was how strong the team was mentally. The Eagles will be busy next week with warm weather anticipated; Pella Christian will play on Tuesday in Oskaloosa, at home on Thursday, and then at Perry on Saturday.
