After a successful season as juniors that saw them all end the season in the top 20 in combined course average in class 1A, a trio of girls golfers for the Pleasantville Trojan girls golf team had one goal that they did not accomplish, success at the state tournament.

Hannah Gordon, Bailey Oliva and Avari Heinz-Penz are all four year members of the Trojans golf program, and all are chasing that elusive success in the postseason. Gordon, who is committed to play golf at Graceland University next season, told KNIA/KRLS sports that the girls have been working hard to get to that final goal. The Trojan girls golf have won their first two meets of the season, with Gordon being the medalist in both. They will next hit the links today at their home course at the Pleasantville Golf and Country Club.
