Versus two Des Moines schools and a nearby rival, the Pella Christian girls’ soccer team went 2 – 1 in their three games at the Southeast Polk tournament this weekend. Pella Christian blanked PCM to begin the morning, 3 – 0. Cailey Terpstra had a goal, and added two assists to Taylor Bolt and Gabi Veloso. Des Moines East was next, but the Eagles fell, 2 – 0. The day finished positively for the Eagles, who took a 9 -0 win over Des Moines North. The nine tallies came from seven different players. Pella Christian improves to 3 – 1 on the year, and they head to Oskaloosa for their first conference game this Tuesday.
