Off to a 4 – 0 beginning to 2016, the Pella Christian girls’ tennis team has looked just as sharp, if not sharper, than they did a year ago. They blanked Albia and Norwalk, 11 – 0, Centerville 10 – 1, and Newton 7 – 4. Seeing their biggest numbers in the last five years, head coach Danielle Stubbs says it’s not just their play during meets, it has been the team’s preparation and willingness to learn that has carried them to this point. The Eagles host Grinnell for their next conference meet on Tuesday at Pella Christian High School.
