With the first three scores in, they were up by eight strokes. After five scores, the tables were turned and they trailed by three strokes. Once everything was made official, the Pella Christian boys’ golf team fell by just one stroke in a Little Hawkeye Conference triangular on Tuesday in Oskaloosa. The Indians put up a 165, while the visiting Eagles shot 166. Mitch Fopma and Kenden Veenstra tied for co-meet medalist each having shot a 39. Spencer Tucker of Oskaloosa was the individual champ with a 35. Dallas Center – Grimes was the other school in attendance, and they put up a 181. Full team results for the Eagles can be found below.
