Hosting a flurry of area teams, the PCM Boys Track team would pick up their first meet win in four years in Monroe last night, with a flurry of top finishers.

Up eight points over rival CMB with just two competitions left, the Mustangs just needed to place in the 4×100 meter relay to win the meet. A dropped baton would disqualify the relay team, and forced the 4×400 team to defeat CMB for the meet win. The relay team would upset the favored Raiders and place first and secure the meet win. First place finishers for the Mustangs include Preston Van Wyk in the 100m and 200m dash, Chris Ellens in the 3200, Austin Sneller in the 110 High Hurdles, and Noah Clark got 1st in the Discus, while the 4×200, 4×400, and Shuttle Hurdle teams also each placed first.

Pleasantville also competed in the meet, with the 4×100 team placing first, Hunter Tyree finished first in the long jump, and Scout and Gauge Van Haalen placing second and third respectively in the long jump.
