The traditionally tough Nevada Girls Soccer team has presented problems for the PCM Lady Mustangs in years past, and the end score was no different in this years contest where the Lady Mustangs fell to the Cubs 11-1.

The game started off much different than in previous contests, with the Lady Mustangs actually getting a goal from Abby Waddell to lead 1-0, but some bad luck would put PCM down and they would not recover. Two own goals would doom the Lady Mustangs, and PCM Coach Bill Sowder told KNIA/KRLS Sports that the girls were hanging with the number one team in class 1A but eventually just couldn’t come back. PCM falls to 2-4, and will next play on Friday at home against Chariton.
