Despite some uncooperative weather, the Pleasantville Trojan Boys golf team would have their best outing of the season yesterday in Chariton but would place fourth in the quad meet which was won by Centerville.

The Trojans were led by seniors Joe Day who shot a 40, and Brad Wimmer who was close behind with a 41 and sophomore Caleb Adreon shot a 43. Despite placing fourth, head coach Joel Allman told KNIA/KRLS Sports that he was extremely happy with how his guys performed despite the non-favorable conditions. The Trojans will next tee off on Friday at the Pleasantville Golf and Country Club against Martensdale-St. Mary’s and Melcher-Dallas.
