At least year’s Class 1A state track qualifying at Martensdale-St. Mary’s one area where the Pleasantville girls track team looked competitive was the relay teams.

The girls placed in the top five in nearly every relay event, getting fourth in the 4×100, fifth in the 4×200, fifth in the 4×400, and third in the 4×800. With sprinters Kelsee Van Haalen, Madyson Thill and many more returning, the Trojans can target the relay teams as an area for improvement, and maybe make a run at performing well in the postseason. The Pleasantville Girls Track season gets started on Tuesday at Lynnville-Sully.
