On a dreary day up in Decorah, the Central men’s golf team was able to find some rhythm like they had in round one of the Iowa Conference tournament. The Dutch put up a third round score of 305; Wartburg scored a 304 to stay in second place, while Luther remained consistent with a 301. Because of the unfavorable forecast for this weekend, nine holes of the fourth and final round were played yesterday; Central shot a 152, Wartburg is tops thus far with a 145, and Luther put up a 155. Central remains 18 shots out of the lead, and ten strokes behind the Knights for second place. Walker Adams continues to impress as he has moved up to third place individually with a total score of +12 for the tournament. An automatic bid to the NCAA Division III National Tournament will be given out to the winning team after today’s final nine holes, scheduled to tee off at 9:00 a.m.
