It was a tough round two for the Central men’s golf team at Finkbine Golf Course in Iowa City. The Dutch shot a first-round 301 and trailed Luther by one stroke after day one, but a second-round score of 318 sent the Dutch backwards to third place, behind Luther by 17 shots. The Norse stayed in the lead after scoring a 302 on Saturday, while Wartburg was ten strokes better than the Dutch in their Saturday rounds, and they sit 15 strokes out of the lead. Walker Adams is still the individual leader for Central, shooting a round of 80 on Saturday to fall to nine over par. Adams trails the leader by seven strokes. Chris Beaubien is tied for 12th for Central with an 11-over-par total score. The tournament is now on hold until this Friday and Saturday, as the attention is turned to Decorah and Oneonta Golf and Country Club for rounds three and four.
