With Drake Relays less than two weeks away, the Pella High girls’ track and field team will attempt to put up even more convincing figures during their trip to Lynnville-Sully for a meet this evening. The Lady Dutch will be the, or at least one of the biggest schools in attendance for a gorgeous Thursday meet. They finished second over in Oskaloosa with a smaller squad, and performed very well on Tuesday at Pella Christian. Coach Dak Rasmussen says the younger athletes on the team will get the opportunity to fill in the holes in some events that were previously occupied by other gals for an important reason: to race on the “Blue Oval.” First events are scheduled to start today at 4:30 p.m.
