A very young PCM Lady Mustang Soccer team got their season started yesterday with a 2-0 loss to Des Moines Hoover, but the final score doesn’t tell the whole story.

According to head coach Bill Sowder, it was the best game his team has played during his tenure as head coach and it was the most complete team game the team has played. That concept is important for the Lady Mustangs, as the team itself is comprised with a majority of talented underclassman challenging the established seniors and juniors on the team in a positive way. The veterans on the squad know that this team could be something special, and throughout the season they know they will continue to improve. Junior Jaiden Rodgers tells KNIA/KRLS Sports that the team has good chemistry already and it will only get better
