Coach Chad Green called it a not-so-great performance, but his Central men’s golf team wound up in third place after day one of the Gorlok Invitational in Eureka, Missouri on Monday. Central had two golfers tie for the tops of their team standings; Chris Beaubien and Ryan Minor each shot +4 and are tied for eighth on the individual leaderboard. As a team, Central shot a 313, 19 strokes behind Webster for first place and 11 behind Carthage in second place. The Dutch play round two of the invitational tourney today.
