A pair of seniors and a junior were selected as Iowa Conference performers of the week for their talents last week. Karly Olson was tabbed as the league softball pitcher of the week, capping off a 4 – 0 stretch with a sweep of then No. 22 Simpson. Olson had 23 strikeouts in 21 innings and allowed just three earned runs. Seniors Ashlee Downs and Kody Dailey were the women’s track and men’s field performers of the week, respectively. Downs put up a personal best 57.61 time in the 400 meter dash in Wisconsin last week, which was the 16th fastest in all of Division III. Dailey threw the javelin a country mile and won the Ashton May Invitational by over 16 feet.
