The Twin Cedars Boys Track and Field Squad made it look easy last night at the Melcher-Dallas Invitational winning the event by 71 points over second place Murray with Melcher-Dallas placing seventh. The Sabers had five individual winners in Dave Williams in the 400 hurdles, Hunter Swope in the 1600 and 3200 races, Jake Crozier in the discus and shot put. Twin Cedars also swept the relays taking the 4×100, 200, 400, 800, distance medley, sprint medley, shuttle hurdle. Coach Aaron Allspach tells KNIA/KRLS Sports at this point of the season he wants his guys to be primed for the “money meets” like the conference and state qualifiers. Melcher-Dallas got a second place from Ethan Harrington in the 800, he was third in the 400, and second in the high jump. On the girls side, Twin Cedars finished seventh getting a second in the sprint medley relay and third in the 4×100.
