Up from No. 12, the Central men’s track and field squad now is on the No. 11 perch of the latest U.S. Track and Field & Cross Country Coaches Association national team computer rankings. The rankings are determined based on lists that are organized by top finishes of Division III athletes in each event that will take place at the national championships. The higher the athlete sits on the list, the more points they add to the team total. Cole Decker and Logan Mulford are still ranked in the Top 10 of their individual events; Decker is second in the 5,000 and 10,000 meters, and Mulford is second in the high jump. Dan Roemerman is 12th in the 110 high hurdles. Central will be looking for a back-to-back outdoor league crown this weekend when they go to the home of the Knights, Waverly, this weekend for the Iowa Conference Championships.
