Crisis Intervention Services will be coming to Knoxville High School and Middle School on Tuesday, May 10, to present a violence prevention curriculum called Mentors in Violence Prevention.

This nationally recognized, evidence and research-based curriculum consists of discussions about violence, gender, bystander intervention, and leadership. The presentation focuses on effective ways to report on domestic violence and sexual abuse. School Resource Officer Kyle Keller stresses the importance of educating school age children about these topics.
