Emillie Krpan was untouchable on Wednesday, throwing a no-hitter in Melcher-Dallas’ 11-0 victory over Orient-Macksburg. No Orient-Macksburg batter was able to locate Krpan’s pitches during the game. Krpan threw a no-hitter, striking out 10 batters and walking none while recording her momentous feat. Five runs in the first three innings helped Melcher-Dallas blow out Orient-Macksburg. An RBI single by Anndee Clark and a two-run home run by Krpan in the first inning and a two-run double by Megan Roush during the second inning supplied the early offense for Melcher-Dallas. Krpan racked up three RBIs on two hits for Melcher-Dallas Saints. Melcher-Dallas will travel to arch rival Twin Cedars tonight.
