Traveling to Gilbert High School for the Heart of Iowa Conference Track and Field Meet, both PCM Mustangs Boys and Girls Track Squads would produce some top finishers.

The girls would place third overall, with Jayci Vos building on her finals appearance in the 400 hurdles and would be crowned conference champion, while also finishing second in the 100 hurdles and the 4×400 team would also place first. Ashley Van Gorp would place second in the long jump, Rachel Stafford would get third in the 800m, while the 4×200 relay team would finish 2nd and the sprint medley would place third. On the Boys side, the Mustangs would run into some of the best competition in the state and place eighth. Noah Clark would place third in the discus, Austin Sneller would place third in the 110 High Hurdles, and Chris Ellens would continue to do well in the long distance events, placing third in both the 1600 and 3200. Both Track squads will next compete tomorrow at Newton.
