Knoxville Hospital & Clinics will be celebrating the completion of its $15 million construction and renovation project with a grand opening on Saturday, June 4, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

A ribbon cutting with the Knoxville Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors will take place at 11 a.m., followed by a special dedication of the Dr. Earl J. McKeever Clinic. The Knoxville Rotary Club will be grilling hamburgers and hot dogs and there will be activities for kids. CEO Kevin Kincaid says hospital staff are excited to provide everyone with a look at their completed construction. He says the project has been the work of countless hours for their team and partners to ensure that the Knoxville community would have a well-built, modern health care facility. The project included remodeling and enlarging patient rooms, renovating the surgery and emergency departments, building a new primary care clinic, and a physical and occupational therapy gym.
