With many teams gearing up for the district meet this week, Pella Christian, PCM, and Knoxville’s boys’ golf teams played in the Eagle Invitational at Bos Landen yesterday.

The Panthers ended up just one stroke behind Williamsburg and settled for second place with a team score of 321. Cam Arkema tied for runner-up medalist with his round of 75, and Tyler Vaske shot a 76. The Mustangs were sixth with a team score of 349; Reid Jenkins had the best 18-hole round for PCM with an 86, and he was followed by Ryan Hill and Dayton Boell’s pair of 88s. Pella Christian finished in eighth place. Graham Howerzyl put up a score of 83, and Mitch Fopma scored an 88. Most of these golfers will be competing at their district meets coming up this Friday.
