They scored four goals and they allowed four goals. The Pella High boys’ soccer team gained a win and a loss during their home tournament this weekend. With rain pouring throughout the day, the Little Dutch began with a 3 – 1 win over Clear Creek Amana. The goals from Pella came off the feet of Evan Armstrong, Nathan Henry, and Colin Vasina. Jay Belding and Will Warner each had an assist. The Little Dutch could not find the same rhythm on offense in their second game loss to A-D-M, 3 – 1. Henry was the lone goal-scorer for Pella, with his second on the day, assisted by Soren Stelter. Pella’s record stands at 7 – 6, and they are back to action on Tuesday at home against league-leading Norwalk.
