With over half of the season completed, the PCM Boys Soccer Team can easily compare this season to the one from last year, and know that drastic improvements were made.

The team went winless last spring, but this season has a record of 3-5, including some big wins over conference rival CMB and Centerville. With such a young team, any wins and simply playing games can give a huge boost to the program in the future. The team has found some success with import from Colfax-Mingo Misha Seebeck as well as Chase Sanders, both of whom are sophomores. The schedule does get tougher from here on out, but according to coach Darin Telfer, that only makes the team stronger come postseason time. The Mustangs will take on Albia this evening, and face a tough test in Newton on Thursday. A full recap will be available on KNIAKRLS.com
