PCM, Pella Christian Boys Compete as Seasons Start to Wind Down

With sectional meets coming up on Friday, PCM and Pella Christian’s boys’ golf teams competed on Saturday at Colfax-Mingo in an 18-hole tournament. The Mustangs finished second to Newton with a total team score of 340. PCM had three golfers score in the 80s; Ryan Hill led the way with an 80, Reid Jenkins shot an 81, and Dayton Boell put up an 89. Pella Christian’s boys were paced by Graham Howerzyl and his round of 88. The Eagles will golf on Tuesday at Bos Landen against Pella High and Newton, and both PCM and Pella Christian will meet back up this Friday at BCLUW at the Oakwood Country Club for the sectional golf meet starting at 10:00 a.m.
