Both the boys and girls track and field squads from PCM and Pleasantville would compete in a large meet at H.A. Lynn Stadium in Newton last night.

The PCM Boys would have a flurry of top finishers and place fourth overall in the meet just four points from second place, with first place finishes coming from Chris Ellens in the 1600, Austin Sneller in the 110 High Hurdles, and Noah Clark in the Discus. The 4×100 and 4×200 relay teams would place first, and the Distance Medley and Shuttle Hurdle teams would finish third. On the girls side, the Lady Mustangs also had a host of athletes with top performances. Jayci Vos would continue to dominate the 400 hurdles, placing first and Ashley Van Gorp would place first in the long jump. The relay teams would also have a good night, with the 4×200, x400, x800, Sprint Medley, and Distance Medley teams all claimed top honors.

On the Pleasantville Trojan side, the girls would have a mismatched roster but would still be competitive in several events highlighted by a second place finish from Madyson Thill in the 100m dash. The boys would have Hunter Tyree place first in the long jump, Chaz Clark get third in the Shot Put, and the 4x800m relay team would place second.
