Pella Christian got a goal from Cailey Terpstra with six minutes remaining to put the Eagles in front and that served as the game winner as the Eagles defeated Knoxville in girls soccer last night 3-2. Pella Christian owned the first half with two goals in the first ten minutes as Laura De Zwarte helped get the Eagles out to a 2-0 lead. However, Knoxville made a mad dash with two goals in six minutes during the second half off from Sarah Holtby and Tori Dye. Haley DeMoss and Ally VanderHart combined to save 12 shots while Pella Christian Goal Keeper Bekah Hortsman saved eight shots. Pella Christian is now 5-6 on the season while Knoxville falls to 4-8.
