The Lady Dutch golf team hopes to cap off a successful 2016 campaign with the program’s first state title since 1994 today and tomorrow in Ames.

Pella’s senior-heavy team qualified both as a group and with now two-time individual qualifier Camille Henry.

Head Coach Mike Vint tells KNIA/KRLS Sports the girls are aware they have to play their best 36 holes of the season, but it’s how they take each individual slot on the scorecard that he believes will be most telling.

Vint says it’s invaluable to have the experience of Henry and last year’s qualifier Aanna Roslien, as they aim to pass some advice on to those experiencing a state competition for the first time.

Stay tuned to KNIA/KRLS for results from the state girls’ golf tournament.
