The final tally was 10 – 1 in each contest between Pella High and Grinnell’s tennis teams yesterday afternoon. The Lady Dutch were victorious over the Tigers by that margin, with their only loss coming at No. 5 doubles. All but two of the wins concluded after just two sets. Pella High’s boys could only muster one match win, and that was at their No. 5 doubles from the team of Jake Speltz and Mike Roozeboom, 7 – 6 and 6 – 3. Pella returns to the courts on Monday in the Little Hawkeye Conference meets; the girls’ showcase will be at Pella Christian and the boys are at Grinnell.
