With the season winding down, the Pleasantville Boys Golf Team would have one last tune up before sectionals on Friday but would fall to Van Meter last night on their home course 162-180.

The Trojans were led by surging sophomore Caleb Adreon who carded a 41, followed by Brady McMains and Joe Day who each shot a 42. Pleasantville Head Coach Joel Allman tells KNIA/KRLS Sports that despite the loss, he is happy with the meet because of the way the three top guys played as they all shot below their season averages. The Trojans will host the sectionals meet this Friday.
