Both Pleasantville Track Squads competed in the Pride of Iowa Conference meet last night in Corydon at the home of Wayne High School. The Boys would finished in 2nd place to Mount Ayr for the fourth consecutive year with several top finishers.

Chaz Clark would finish first in the shot put, and Zeb Adreon would take first in the 100m dash. The Trojan relay teams as expected would score plenty of points, with the 4×100, 4×200, and 4×400 all finishing in second and the 4×800 relay team would finish third. Will Anthony would finish second in the discus, Scout Van Haalen would get second in the High Jump, and Hunter Tyree would get third in the long jump. On the girls side they would finish in 7th place, Madyson Thill would be crowned Pride of Iowa Conference Champ in the 100m dash, Kylee Van Haalen finished second in the discus, and the 4×200 relay team would finish in fourth. Both Track squads get going again on Thursday at Newton.
