Class may be out, which means many students are enjoying their summer vacation.

But Superintendent Greg Ebeling tells KNIA/KRLS News work continues for most educators in preparation for next academic year.

“There is a lot of staff training that goes on over the summer,” Ebeling says. “Our Director of Instruction Lowell Ernst put together a document that showed that there’s actually 93 different trainings and things that people will be coming in for.”

He says beyond those training sessions, hours of coursework development is also taking place.

Ebeling says it’s exciting to see how the work translates during the academic year.
