Central underclassmen Tabitha Taylor and Karly Olson were both announced as members of the National Fastpitch Coaches Association Division III All-Midwest Region softball team yesterday. Both were at-large selections, with Taylor landing on the second team and Olson on the third team. Taylor led the team with 40 hits this season and a .357 batting average, with eight doubles, two home runs, and a .482 slugging percentage. Olson threw 11 complete games, two of them shutouts, on her way to tabulating a 16 – 15 record. The junior amassed 138 strikeouts, limited opponents to a .253 batting average, and finished with an ERA of 2.77.
