An afternoon game at Principal Park is a fun opportunity for some high school baseball athletes and Knoxville Baseball made the most of it getting plenty of their young pitching into the game yesterday afternoon. The problem was, Bondurant-Farrar would take advantage of that young pitching in an 8-3 defeat for the Panthers.

Knoxville would take a 2-1 lead into the sixth inning before an RBI single from the Blue Jays would tie the score heading into the seventh. The Blue Jays would explode for six runs in the seventh highlighted by a one out bases clearing double to the left center gap. Knoxville would get a run back in the bottom half but the deficit was too great. Kaleb Striegle takes the loss for the Panthers on the mound, and Ben Wallace and Cam Liston both had RBI hits. The Panthers fall to 7-9 and play in a doubleheader against Fairfield tomorrow night.
