It was a split for the Knoxville Softball Squad Saturday at the Oskaloosa Invitational. The Panthers fell to Newton in game one 10-2. Jada Agan took the loss going four innings while Ricki Hall had a triple and RBI. Game two went better for the Panthers as they beat West Burlington 6-3. Delaynne South went the distance allowing just three hits, three walks and four strikeouts. The big blow from the Panthers was a two-run home run by Emily Wallace in the bottom of the sixth. Knoxville returns to the home diamond tonight to battle Clarke.
