Pella High’s girls’ golf team wrapped up their 2016 season with a Top 5 finish as a whole and an individual Top 10 finish at the Class 4A state meet yesterday afternoon. The Lady Dutch were third after Tuesday’s festivities, and finished with a total score of 755. Fairfield, who was in fourth after round one, was one of only two schools to shoot better on Wednesday than the previous afternoon, leapfrogged up to second, with everyone looking up at Washington who won the state title by 17 strokes. Camille Henry led the Pella girls with a total score of 38 over par to finish in ninth as an individual. Sydney Wiskus was right behind her at 188 strokes on the par-71 course.
