Lincoln Elementary Demolition

Administrators with the Pella Community School District hope most upgrades to Lincoln Elementary will be fully complete by the time school starts this fall.

Superintendent Greg Ebeling says the school board hopes to close out most of the contracts in the near future. Ebeling says while students and staff were able to utilize the $15 million facility this spring, there was still a lot of work to finish over the summer.

“That is exterior work,” he says. “Pouring some additional parking, a bus lane, also actually completing our underground water retention storage.”

The Pella School Board next meets on Monday, July 18th.
