The PCM Baseball squad would compete in a tournament at Colfax-Mingo yesterday, falling to a strong Albia team 8-2 and Colfax-Mingo 5-3.

Against Albia Derek Brown would start on the mound for the Mustangs and go only 1 1/3 innings and would take the loss, and the Mustangs would fall down 6-0 before putting through their only two runs in the bottom of the sixth inning. Preston Van Wyk in the leadoff spot would gather two hits. In game two the Mustangs would get out to an early 3-0 lead before a crooked number put up by the Tigerhawks in the fifth inning would put the Mustangs down for good. Van Wyk would take the loss on the mound despite seven strikeouts, and Brayton Van Dyke would get an RBI hit. The Mustangs fall to 4-5 and are currently on a three game losing streak, and will look to right the ship against Saydel Monday.
