A road trip past Des Moines to Gilbert was in store for the PCM Baseball team last night where they would fall to the powerful Tigers 8-4.

The Mustangs had plenty of scoring chances in a big inning with runners on base but couldn’t capitalize on the opportunities. Coach Shawn Hudnut told KNIA/KRLS Sports that the guys played hard but didn’t execute defensively well enough which led to scores for Gilbert. The Mustangs fall to 5-8, and will play in a tournament held at East Marshall this afternoon. Full recap of today’s action can be found on KNIAKRLS.com tomorrow morning and during the Marion County Sunday Morning Magazine.
