The Pleasantville Baseball Team gave up seven unearned runs last night to fall to the Van Meter Bulldogs 11-1 in only five innings.

Brock Busick drove in the only run for the Trojans as he continues to improve at the plate, so far raising his average from .204 last season to .490 so far this season. The loss puts a halt to the Trojans current winning streak stopping it at two, but still have won 10 of their last 13 games after a rough start to the season. The Trojans have a tough game against Winterset tonight where they look to get back on track. A full recap of that game can be found on KNIAKRLS.com
