Pleasantville Baseball claims its first winning streak of the season after dispatching Wayne last night in a 12-4 victory over the Falcons.

Kyle Amendt would start on the mound and pick up the win with Nate Sowers picking up some relief innings in a combined effort. Zeb Adreon and Caleb Adreon would each have three hits and Sowers, Ethan Worthington and Brock Busick would all pick up two. The win is the second in a row for the slow starting Trojans, who will play area rival PCM tonight. The Trojan Softball squad is still searching for the winning formula as they fell 10-5 last night to Wayne. Andie Sowers would hit a home run for one of her two hits, while Avari Heinz-Penz and Katelyn Sandholdt would also each get two hits. Pleasantville Softball will next play Monday against Pride of Iowa Conference Rival Lenox.
