The Pleasantville Baseball team knows a bit about winning streaks, having gotten a 28 game one last season, and they extended their seven game winning streak to eight after a win against class 3A school Chariton 2-1 last night.

The sophomore pitchers for the Trojans would seal the win, with Colton Major getting the start and the win and Kyle Amendt coming in for the save, Major’s record improves to 6-0 on the season. Nate Sowers would get an RBI double to pace the Trojans offense, and the win puts the Trojans at 20 wins for the fifth consecutive season. The Trojans will be joined by the softball team facing off against I-35 tonight at home.
