Pleasantville Softball and Pleasantville Baseball both had big nights last night as Southwest Valley came into town, Softball winning 12-0 in four innings and the baseball team winning 18-0 in four innings.

For the softball squad Abby DeJoode threw a two hit shutout while Trisha Kunza, Hannah Hatch, Andie Sowers, Corinne Thomas and Kylee Van Haalen all picked up two hits while Katelyn Sandholdt was 3-3. The Trojans have now won five in a row to get their record to 7-7. The baseball squad showed Colton Major on the mound throwing a one hit shutout with Zeb Adreon getting a pair of doubles and Brock Busick going 2-2 at the dish. The Trojans break their two game losing streak and are 11-6 on the season with a game against class 3A Newton today.
