After day one at the class 2A State Girls Golf Tournament, the Pleasantville Trojan Girls Golf Team has two individual competitors still within striking distance of a state title.

Sitting in a tie for eighth place is Hannah Gordon who carded a score of 86, and she sits just six shots behind the leader going into today. Her teammate Bailey Oliva shot an 87, and is alone in 10th place. As a team, Pleasantville is currently tied for fifth and has some work to do if they want to win a state title; the Trojans shot a 371 and are 29 shots behind first place Alta-Aurelia.
