The Pleasantville Baseball Squad got hits when needed and spot on pitching at the right time to defeat Twin Cedars last night 10-4. After a shaky start, Trojan Pitcher Brock Busick allowed two runs in the first inning, settled down and did not allow another Saber to cross the plate. A three run fourth and another three runs in the sixth allowed the Trojans to cruise the rest of the way. Busick helped his own cause getting two RBIs in the fourth he went two-for-four with three total RBIs. Busick picked up the win going five complete innings allowing just two runs on three hits, four walks and eight strikeouts including sitting down the Sabers in order all on strikeouts in the third inning. For Twin Cedars, the Saber bats just never got going. Jake Crozier and Brock DenBurger got an RBI, each. Jake Knox took the loss going five-plus innings allowing seven runs on seven hits, five walks and a strikeout. Pleasantville is now 13-7 while Twin Cedars is now 9-5.
