A 20 minute delay due to much of the lighting system going out due to a power surge could not stop Kerry Madsen from taking the National Sprint League feature Saturday night at the Knoxville Raceway. Just as the field took the green flag about half of the lights suddenly went out and officials deemed the track unsafe for racing and called everyone to the pits while power was restored. After the delay, Madsen took the lead on a restart and coasted to the win. Clint Garner hung on to win over a hard charging Nate Van Haaften in the final lap to claim the 360 win, and back in her old reliable car, McKenna Hasse picked up her first win of 2016 and third overall at the Knoxville Raceway in the 305 class.
