The Twin Cedars Softball Squad ended a frustrating stretch of the games by drubbing Diagonal in double header and ending both games via the mercy rule. In game one, the Sabers blasted the Maroons 15-4 ending the game after an eight run fifth inning. Madison DeWit and Shelby Denburger combined for seven of the team’s RBIs. Jensen Hastings picked the win striking out seven. Game two was much like the first, only DeWit picked the up the three inning win in the circle, and Hastings was the RBI machine batting in four and going 2/2. Marisa Lundy collected three RBI and Maddison Zellmer had two RBI. The Sabers travel to Murray tonight.
