A “raise” and a pair of new coaches highlight the changes in the Central men’s soccer team’s coaching staff for 2016. Former part-time assistant, Will Foskett, is now a full-time assistant and recruiting coordinator for Coach Garry Laidlaw. Foskett was part-time for four years before the promotion and has worked with youth in the Tulip City as a coach for the Pella Soccer Club. Greg Walter, a former assistant, and Zach Jensen, a Dutch men’s soccer team alum, will act as the goalkeepers coach and volunteer assistant, respectively. Walter was a goalkeeper at MacMurray College in Illinois and has coached there and at William Penn University. Jensen played under Laidlaw between 2009 – 2012, and has worked with youth level and high school teams in Johnston and Pella. The men kick their fall season off on September 3, playing the first of back-to-back games in Michigan versus Alma.
