More Division III coaching experience will join Kent Clayberg and his staff on Central’s volleyball team this fall. Set to sit on the sidelines with Coach Clayberg will be Eden Denney and Nichole (McGrew) Baethke. Denney graduated from Texas Lutheran University in 2011 and will be an assistant coach for the Dutch. She was a grad assistant for Student-Athlete Services at D1 Troy University in Alabama most recently, and played at Texas Lutheran as a middle blocker for four years. Baethke is a Central graduate from 2011 and was a three-time letterwinner from 2008-10 as a defensive specialist for the Dutch. Baethke was also the team co-captain in her senior year. Travis Yets was an assistant coach for Central, and he will move up to head the junior varsity team. Central will begin their volleyball season in the Eastern Time Zone with a trip to New York on September 2 and 3 for the Clarkson University tournament.
