A Knoxville Woman was arrested after a call involving a drug overdose Saturday.
Just after noon Knoxville Police Officers were called to assist in a rescue at 905 West South Street. Arriving at the scene, officers found a man, and a woman identified as Cody Lynn Palmer. The man was transported to the hospital. Syringes and a spoon known to be drug paraphernalia were discovered and a warrant was obtained for the residence. In the course of executing the warrant officers found two firearms: a shotgun and a rifle. Palmer was arrested and charged with felon in possession of a weapon, a class D felony and possession of a schedule 4 controlled substance.
